Congratulations to Hicksville American Soccer's Girl's U-10 Travel Team! They played another great game Saturday, defeating the Glen Cove Hot Shots, 6-1.

Although the Hot Shots are new to the travel program, they have walked away from the past five league games without a loss.

Goalie Laurel O'Donnell is always on her toes and ready to tackle any shot that comes her way!

The defenders' strong playing can be seen by the game scores. The team is lucky to have Christa Levko, Jaclyn Vitanza and Lisa Anuskiewicz on their side.

Erin Breen, Lauren Fox and Kathleen Pollet are holding their positions strong and are definite assets to the team.

Hicksville's opponents have had a hard time trying to stop their offense. Julia Finlay, Courtney Breen, JoAnn Hernandez, Amy Vlahos-Kitas, Kasey Abriano and Nicole Tarone have displayed great skills in each and every game.

The girls have also won their second round in the State Cup, defeating Farmingdale this past Sunday 3-1.

Goals scored during these winning games were made by Courtney Breen, Erin Breen, Julia Finlay, Nicole Tarone, Amy Vlahos-Kitas and JoAnn Hernandez.

Congratulations to a great group of girls for a job well done!
