John A. Walker, 52, of Hicksville, died on Aug. 29, 1999. He was born on July 12, 1947 in Yonkers. Mr. Walker was the Commissioner of General Services for the Town of Oyster Bay. He was the executive leader of the Hicksville West Republican Committe and president and founder of the Hicksville Athletic Booster Club. Husband of Rose Marie.
