  • SPORTS: DiDonato Scores in 1998 Chase Corporate Challenge

    Hicksville's Don DiDonato, running for the FedEx team, outlasted Kevin Krause of the Suffolk County Police Department to take first place overall in the 14th annual Chase Corporate Challenge, a 3.5 mile run held at Jones Beach State Park on Tuesday evening July 28, as a record 7,928 runners and walkers from 252 companies participated in what was the largest participatory sporting event held on Long island in recent years. It was the sixth time that DiDonato has won the Chase Corporate Challenge on Long Island, including five of the last six years, and the second straight year that he has outkicked Krause to win it.
