The Hicksville "Hot Shots" did it again! Tina Vitanza's U9 Tournament Team entered the competitive Brentwood Tournament, and left with an outstanding record of 4 wins and one tie. Forwards: Courtney Breen, Julia Finlay, Kasey Abbriano. Amy Vlahoskitas and JoAnne Hernandez accumulated 23 outrageous goals in five games. This left the team with the highest scoring record in the tournament. While the coach is ecstatic about the teamwork displayed by the forwards, she feels the MVP's of the game belong to her defensive players: Erin Breen, Jacyln Vitanza, Lauren Fox, Lisa Anuskiewitz, and Krista Levkowith. Only two goals were scored against the team in five games and one was a direct kick. The goalies, Nina Grapaglia and Laurel O'Donnel, displayed great skill directing the defense on covering open players. Congratulations Hot Shots!
