Frank L. Ventrello, formerly of Hicksville, died on July 6, 1999. Former owner of Pallette Creations in Manhattan and a member of L.I.B.B.A. Husband of Doris. Father of Frank and Barbara Ventrello and Lisa Grams. Grandfather of four. Brother of William Ventrello. Arrangements were made by the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, Hicksville. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.

James B. Allen Sr., formerly of Hicksville, died on July 8, 1999. He was a 30-year employee of the Hicksville Post Office and owner of the Hicksville Pro Shop. Husband of Kathleen. Father of Robert, James, Kathleen and John. Brother of Betty, Joan and Robert. Grandfather of Kerri, Kevin, Katie, Emma, Mary Caite, Brian, John and Robert Emmet. Father-in-law of Mary Jane, Kevin and Laura. Arrangements were made by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Mass at Holy Family RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Irene Rose D'Amura, formerly of Hicksville, died on July 11, 1999. Daughter of Irene Rita D'Amura and the late Mariano. Sister of Jerry. Aunt of David, Michael and Alan. Frank Fred Fippinger Jr., former resident of Hicksville, died suddenly in Mesa, AZ on June 24, 1999 in his 45th year. Former employee of the NY Telephone Co. Son of Frank and Evelyn Wagner Fippinger. Widower of Eileen Miller Fippinger. Survivors include three brothers, Gary (Karen), John (Deborah) and William (Virginia); and two sisters Lynn Gross (Hank) and Susan Fippinger. Also survived by four nieces and two nephews. Arrangements were made by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel.
