James R. Ryan Sr., of Hicksville, died on March 7, 1999. Retired NYPD sgt. Husband of Marie C. (nee McMahon). Father of the late James E. Jr., Jacqueline DeRosa, Marie Oppedisario and Patricia Ryan. Father-in-law of Steven and Michael. Grandfather of Jennifer, Victoria, Alexandra, Michael, Matthew and Christopher. Brother of Madeline Ryan, Florence Hickey, Irene Kennedy and Patricia Lohr.
