  • SPORTS: Hicksville Ties Floral Park 5-5

    The fifth grade lacrosse team tied Floral Park 5-5 in their first home game of the season. The team was coming off a disappointing 7-4 loss to the powerful Garden City "A" team. The Garden City loss was played in a torrential rain and was a defensive nightmare for the team. The Hicksville goalie, Patrick Sheedy, was spectacular with 10 saves in the game. Most of Patrick's saves were one on one stuffs against the Garden City offense. Unfortunately, six of the seven Garden City goals were also one on one, which gave the Hicksville goalie little chance of making the save. FULL STORY

  • SPORTS: Hicksville's 3rd/4th Grade PAL Lacrosse Team

    This great Hicksville team faced off on Sunday, May 3, against Jericho and as we have come to expect from this Hicksville team the game was exciting. Although the final score was 6-5 Jericho, the Hicksville team dominated the field. They recovered most of the ground balls, are starting to develop a nice passing game, and are tireless in their effort. FULL STORY
