The Hicksville School Board has voted to pursue plans to re-open East Street School. This action, it is hoped, will alleviate current overcrowded conditions at two schools, as well as provide a long term solution to student population fluctuations in the district. FULL STORY

The Holy Family Bluemen eighth-grade boys basketball team advanced to the CYO Gold Division final with a well-earned 52-40 victory over Our Lady of Lourdes on Sunday, March 8. Things were not going well for the Bluemen at the beginning of the game. The team's leading scorer, Sean Connors, was lost in Northport and second leader scorer, Dan Hipp, was on the bench with an injury. FULL STORY
