    A mural hanging in the middle school auditorium depicts Englishman Robert Williams and Pugnipan, a sachem of the native Matinecock tribe, beneath the "Cantiague Oak" settling the land purchase that would eventually demarcate the territory currently known as Hicksville.

    St. Ignatius Loyola Church, a distinctive landmark in the center of downtown Hicksville, is winding down its efforts to raise money for the restoration of its building and steeple.

  • NEWS: Tree Lighting Ceremony

    For many years at Christmas time, the Rotary Club of Hicksville -Jericho has decorated the evergreen tree in Kennedy Park located between Broadway (107) and Jerusalem Ave. in Hicksville. As it did last year, the Hicksville Fire Department and the Rotary Club will again trim the tree this holiday season.
