Expressing Thanks

I would like to publicly say a big "Thank You" to the Hicksville Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

I was staying at my daughter's place in Hicksville in September while I was moving to Massapequa from Queens. I was taken ill and had to get help. I was unable to walk to the car to go to the hospital.

My daughter, Anne Marie, called the Hicksville Fire Department. They were there within minutes to transport me to Mid-Island Hospital. The guys were terrific; calming my fears, holding my hand, everything to comfort me.

I have been busy recuperating and settling into my new place and did not take the time to say "Thank You" but here it is.
