Superintendent Finn Greets Retirees

The Association of Retired Hicksville School Employees held its General Membership Meeting on Oct. 8 at the VFW Hall in Hicksville. Over 130 retirees were present to hear Hicksville's new Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Edward J. Finn, bring greetings to the group. Dr. Finn spoke eloquently and all who were present were greatly impressed by his warmth and understanding of the needs of retirees.

After a short business meeting, Elizabeth Olszewski, (affiliated with Long Term Health Care Brokers and NYS Partnership for LTC) presented an informative workshop about Long Term Health Care.

Refreshments and socializing followed. The meeting received rave reviews from all who attended!
