A check for $25,000 was recently presented to the Hicksville Chamber of Commerce from the New York State Office of Economic Development. The Town of Oyster Bay, through its Department of Intergovernmental Affairs, helped to secure the grant money which will be used to conduct a study of Hicksville's business community to determine ways of improving and revitalizing its downtown economy.
