Evelyn Wintrob PantellEvelyn Wintrob Pantell, a 55-year resident of Great Neck, passed away peacefully in High Point, NC, on June 27, 2010. She would have celebrated her 93rd birthday on July 4. She greatly enjoyed her long memberships in the Unitarian Universalist Church, Manhasset, and the Great Neck Color Camera Club and will be missed by all her friends in those places. She is survived by a son, Jeremy Paul, and a grandson, Robert Edward, both of Greensboro, NC.
She was predeceased by her sister Judith Modell of New York, NY; her sister Beatrice Straff of Philadelphia; and her nephews Robert Straff and Richard Straff of Philadelphia.
Memorial service to be held in the chapel at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 48 Shelter Rock Road, Manhasset, at noon on Sunday, July 18. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
