Joan E. Glance

Joan E. Glance, age 64, beloved daughter of the late Dr. Harry and Helen Feldman, sister of the late Steven Feldman, cherished wife of the late Howard Glance, adored sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt and loving and devoted companion of Howard Gottlieb, died May 16, 2009 after a valiant struggle with non-smoker’s lung cancer. She was a gifted teacher who worked tirelessly for 35 years in early childhood education. She will be missed by her relatives, many lifetime friends and Mt. Sinai support group. Graveside service held May 17.
