Obituary: Vincenzina Economos

Vincenzina (Vincie) Economos, 73, of Hartsdale, NY, formerly of Great Neck, died July 29, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Anna Duscher and Salvatore Bruschetti. Survived by her son, Salvatore Economos, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and daughter, Andrea Economos, son-in-law, Joseph Cervone and grandchildren, John and Catie, Scarsdale, NY. Also survived by sisters Marianna O’Boyle of Aberdeen, NJ, and Carmela Cappell of Matawan, NJ, and brother Joseph Bruschetti, New Milford, CT.
Vincie touched many people with her loving and generous heart. She will be missed.
Funeral Mass was held on Aug. 6 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, White Plains. A memorial gathering will also take place at the home of her daughter later in August.
