Vivian Gloria (Meyer), lifelong resident of Great Neck, died peacefully at home on Aug. 16, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was a honorary chief and past president of the Vigilant Fire Co. of Great Neck. She was a member for 27 years. Beloved wife of Timothy McGrath and the late Robert Meyer. Loving mother of Vivienne (Danny) Moorehead. Devoted grandmother of Kelly and Brian. Cherished sister of Genevieve Munnelly, Maurice Jackie (Linda) Sulla and the late AnnMarie and aunt of Brian (Terry), Alexandra, Laura (Gary) and Kayla. Adored friend for life to anyone she met. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nassau County Fire Fighters Burn Center Foundation.
