Marilyn Rosen of West Palm Beach, FL, and former Great Neck resident of 50 years died on July 16, 2011 at age 84 after an extended illness. She is survived by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Paul, as well as her cherished sons, Raymond and Warren. Graveside services were arranged by Riverside-Nassau North Chapels and services were held at New Mount Carmel Cemetery in Queens on July 18 with Rabbi Abraham Eckstein officiating.
She was an avid reader of the Great Neck Record and involved in many charitable organizations such as Women’s American ORT and the former Children’s Asthma Research Institute and Hospital in Denver, CO, now known as The National Asthma Center. Marilyn was a devoted tennis player and fixture on the tennis courts at Memorial Field and someone who would never say no to a game of Canasta.
