Martin M. Lewis died peacefully at his home in Lake Success on July 17, 2011 at the age of 91, surrounded by his family. Milton, as he was known by all, lived in Lake Success for 55 years. He is survived by Camille, his loving wife of 68 years, his three children, David (Donna), Carole Gagliano (Joseph) and Joan Levine (Ira). Milton was equally devoted to his eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Milton was an avid golfer and a fixture at the Lake Success Golf Course. Milton was buried with military honors at Mount Neboh Cemetery, Cypress Hills, Queens. The graveside service was officiated by Cantor Suzanne G. Mazel. To show your respect, contributions in Milton’s memory may be directed to B’nai B’rith International or the American Diabetes Association. There was never a kinder, more generous and gentler person.
