At 8 p.m. the Board of Commissioners of the Great Neck Park District will hold a business meeting at the Park District Office, 5 Beach Road.
The Great Neck Water Pollution Control District board of commissioners will meet 8:30 a.m. at the GNWPCD office at 236 East Shore Road in Great Neck.
At 8 p.m. the Great Neck Park District will present a Steppingstone Summer Performing Arts concert, Hotel California: A Salute to the Eagles. The performance will be at Steppingstone Park. Admission is with a park card.

The Great Neck Library will hold a public community meeting at 7 p.m. on the Main Library proposed building renovation. All community members are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting at the Station Branch Library, The Gardens at Great Neck, 26 Great Neck Road, second level, near Waldbaum’s. The architect will give a presentation of the approved building plan for the renovation. Refreshments will be served.

REAP, retired, energetic, active professionals meet every Tuesday at the Cumberland School, 30 Cumberland Avenue, Great Neck. At 9 a.m. Aaron Reisberg will discuss “Mesopotamia Cradle of Civilization.” A business meeting will follow, including “My Opinion” by Arthur Beecher. He will choose a topic of interest to all. Our featured speaker this week, at 11 a.m. is James Coll, who will present, “Can Albany Be Fixed?” Lunch, is at noon, followed by current events led by Peter Lubell. Coffee, tea and refreshments will be served.
The next regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Great Neck Library will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Main Library, 159 Bayview Avenue.
