The Great Neck Community Fund is happy to announce that Brickwell Cycling and Multisports, located at 3 Northern Boulevard in Great Neck, is now the title sponsor of our annual triathlon.

The Long Island Gold Coast Triathlon/Duathlon & Relay, now in its 13th year, was created by Richard Arenella, Henry Krostich and Bob Gordon. The original concept was to hold the event in Great Neck, but due to several environmental and traffic concerns, the event was moved to Hempstead Harbor in Port Washington where it continues today. The event has grown to over 1,200 competitors and is the second largest multisport event held on Long Island
Andrew Motola, who owns Brickwell Cycling and Multisports, is a Great Neck resident, an avid triathlete and is on the board of USA Triathlon which sanctions the event. Andrew is happy to support the sport he loves and the community he lives in. Brickwell will also serve as a race packet pickup location, and Andrew and his staff provide race day bike services to the athletes who participate in the event.
Another sponsor of this year's event is Excel Workout and Physical Therapy, located at 1482 Northern Boulevard in Manhasset. Owners Sharon and Peter Levy are residents of Great Neck,and Sharon is an avid triathlete and will once again be competing in this year's event. Excel will also serve as a race packet pickup location.
