The Great Neck Soccer Club, a member of the Long Island Junior Soccer League and Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, will be holding tryouts for next years' travel soccer teams on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 22 and 23 (must attend both sessions) at the Great Neck North Middle School Soccer Field on Arrandale Avenue.

To be eligible, players must be born on or after Aug. 1, 1999 (current third graders and some fourth graders are eligible).

Tryouts will begin promptly at 10 a.m., and players must arrive at 9:30 a.m. for registration.

To be allowed to participate in the tryouts, all participants must bring all of the following (no exceptions): (1) Size #4 soccer ball with a name or identifying mark on it; (2) soccer cleats, shin guards, soccer socks and/or sweatpants; (3) enough to drink for 2 hours; (4) a copy of the child's Birth Certificate or passport; and (5) a check for $25 made payable to "Great Neck Soccer Club."

The tryouts will be held rain or shine; therefore, the children are advised to dress warmly.
