The MCA (Mashadi Cancer Alliance), a community based support group organized in 2004 designed to help mashadi community members who have been diagnosed with cancer, will join the Susan B Komen Race for the Cure, for the third time. The 5K walk/run will take place on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 9 a.m. in Central Park.

The team, led by team captain Dalia Ettesami (survivor), has achieved outstanding results in the ranking of money raised in previous years. Last year's race hosted a total of more than 20,000 people and raised over $3.8 million in grants for community and research programs in Greater New York City.
