Opinion

The Great Neck Park District has done just an absolutely outstanding job this summer in lining up talent for the coming summer weekends. Saturday and Sunday evenings will be spectacular at the beautiful Steppingstone Waterside Theatre, with a magnificent view, as park district residents enjoy an amazing array of performers, thanks to Park District Superintendent Neil Marrin.

We know the tremendous effort that our good friend Neil Marrin puts into finding talent that will appeal to all segments of the community. This is an all-year-round job, just providing shows for the too-short summer months, and we want to say a special "thank you" to Mr. Marrin.

We urge all park district residents to take a good look at the Steppingstone schedule and plan some lovely picnic suppers at the Waterside Theatre. You sure don't have to travel far to enjoy your summer evenings!

Come to the Steppingstone Waterside Theater and have a fabulous summer!

As always, we thank our park commissioners Bob Lincoln, Ivar Segalowitz and Ruth Tamarin for the superb job they do in ensuring the beautiful leisure life we all enjoy through our park district. But this time we must offer an extra special thank you to Neil Marrin.

Thank you, Neil!
