Jack's Run for Autism Awareness will take place 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 7 at Wilson Park, Mineola. All proceeds from the race will benefit Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism (NSSA). Last year the race drew close to 400 registrants.
The 5K Run/Walk (only 3.1 miles) will begin and end in Wilson Park, between Roslyn Road and Glen Cove Road. Registration for runners is $20 prior to June 6 and $25 on Race Day (7:45 to 9:15 a.m.). All pre-registrants will receive a T-shirt. Refreshments will be served at the close of the race. Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female runners in a broad variety of age categories. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
