The Community House of Great Neck is sponsoring the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. On June 28, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Great Neck South High School. It is an event that incorporates fundraising, health education and entertainment to support cancer survivors. People from all walks of life participate in the event throughout the day by walking in honor or in memory of those affected by cancer. In the evening, a luminaria candlelight vision remembers those who have fallen from cancer.
