Once again we have just received a phone call asking why we do not have more high school (and middle school) sports stories in the Great Neck Record. Well, the answer is that we would love to carry even more local sports, but, actually, we must depend on our readers to supply us with these stories.

There are so many sports stories out there just waiting to be written. We cover as many as we can. However, when it comes to our school teams, well there are almost too many to count and we couldn't possibly keep up with every athlete, every team, every season, at every one of our schools. So we ask you, the readers --- the athletes, the coaches, the parents --- to please help us out.

Send us the information. Send us your sports stories. And send us some photos too; we love to see the youngsters on our sports pages.
