SUNY Maritime will be hosting the first annual Privateer Golf Classic on Friday, Sept. 28, at the Pelham-Split Rock Golf Club. The shotgun start will begin at 1 p.m.

Funds raised from this event will be used to enhance the athletic experience for SUNY Maritime students. The fee of $130 per golfer, or $475 per foursome, will include 18 holes with a cart, lunch at the turn, a dinner buffet following your round, and a discount at the Pro Shop. There will be prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin, hole in one, and lowest scoring foursome. Along with those prizes, there will also be giveaways throughout the day.
