Service of Loving Gratitude to Honor Rabbi Davidson
Temple Beth-El of Great Neck takes pride in honoring Rabbi Jerome K. Davidson as he retires as senior rabbi and becomes Rabbi Emeritus with a special Shabbat Service on Friday, June 15, at 8 p.m., "A Service of Loving Gratitude." This Shabbat Service will celebrate Rabbi Davidson's many accomplishments with appropriate tributes, beautiful music, sentiment and an element of fun.

The Great Neck Public Schools Board of Education proposes to put in place a new policy on harassment, hazing and bullying. The policy was developed by the board's policy committee.

South Track Team a Winner!
Most people say that track isn't a team sport, and they are basically right. There is no passing in the 100-meter dash or blocking in the mile run (for the sake of irony, we will ignore the teamwork required to make a baton pass, or the strategy involved in drafting and pacing in a long-distance race), no plays to practice or anything else you would associate with team sports.

Allstars Basketball Program Going Strong
The Great Neck/Manhasset Allstars Basketball program was formed in the summer of 1998 as a 3-3 team comprised of one player from Great Neck, one player from Staten Island and another from the Bronx.
