The Village of Great Neck will hold contested elections on June 19. The Village Preservation Party has nominated Mayor Richard Deem to run for re-election. He will be challenged by Better Government Party candidate, Deputy Mayor and Trustee Ralph Kreitzman. Trustee candidates, BGP Trustee Mitchell Beckerman and BGP Board of Zoning Appeals member Jeffrey Bass are being challenged by VPP candidates Danny Goltche and Jerry White. Local ski racers, Hannah, Amanda and Marcie Zeitlin from Great Neck competed in the Nature Valley NASTAR National Championships from March 22 to 25, at Steamboat Ski Resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Hannah represented Beaver Creek resort in the Platinum division, and Amanda and Marcie represented Snowmass in the Silver division, to compete in this prestigious national event. FULL STORY
