The Hockey Program at the Parkwood Complex is gearing up for some more excitement this winter. The hockey teams have been doing a great job this 2006/2007 season!

The players on all of our Bruins teams have been giving their all to their sport and competing to win!

The teams will be attending a year end tournament this year in Hershey Park, Pennsylvania, during the month of March. The Squirts (ages 9 and 10) and the Bantams (ages 13 and 14), will surely make the playoffs but all four teams have a fighting chance.

The Squirts have been having an outstanding season. They have some major games coming up against competitive opponents but have the ability of walking away with a championship. Our Bantam team is also working hard to make it to the playoffs.

The Pee Wees (ages 11 and 12) started out a bit rocky but they have gathered their strength and are hoping to make a big comeback in the upcoming weeks. Our Midget Minor Team (ages 15 and 16) have been working hard in the B division and are hoping to become winners, as well.

The Park District is extremely proud of its teams.

Come support the Great Neck Bruins and cheer for your favorite players at the A. Stergiopoulos Ice Rink.
