On a bright and sunny Sunday morning in Great Neck, 16 Grizzlies, participated in a fierce game of soccer. The 11-year-old Grizzlies played with attitude and determination on the Great Neck North High School field, leading them to a powerful 3-0 victory against Oceanside. The Road Runners had a disappointing day on the soccer field as they lost to Village of Branch in a 2-0 game. After a three-week hiatus, 16 players showed up ready to play. The two teams battled hard and played a tight match against each other until the last 10 minutes, when VOB managed to score 2 goals within minutes of each other. The Road Runners played vigorously and with determination, unfortunately the break definitely had its effects on them. VOB turned out to be a tough challenge for the Road Runners. FULL STORY
