Bob Litwin's winning ways have continued at the USTA National Grass Court Championships played at Rockaway Hunt Club in Lawrence, LI. Playing The National Championships for 55 and older players for the fourth year, Litwin won both the singles and the doubles titles, his 11th and 12th National titles. This is the third time that he has won both single and doubles in the same year. His overall record in the event is 31-1, with his only loss being in the singles finals of 2005. According to Litwin, "this was the toughest of my Nationals in that I had a very difficult draw and we had to adapt to a surface change because rain forced us to play some matches on indoor hardcourts." He defeated Phil Landauer of Ohio 6-4, 6-3 in the singles final. He partnered with Brian Cheney, Arizona in defeating Landauer and Neal Newman, Ohio, in the doubles final, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.
