Murray Dorfman, 90, of Great Neck, formerly of Bayside, died on Aug. 17, 2006 in Grace Plaza, NH. He was a captain in the US Army during WWII, serving in Normandy, Battle of the Bulge, Remagen and Pilsen. He was a general manager with Mission Plaza Beverage Co., Long Island City. Son of the late Manils Dorfman and Yetta Hausman Dorfman. He is survived by his wife Edith (Estrin) Dorfman; children, Susan Dorfman Diamond and Linda Stein; sons-in-law, Sander Diamond and Phillip Stein; grandchildren, Meredith Diamond Lee, Matthew Diamond, Amy Stein and Joshua Stein; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Zachary Lee; and his sister Selma Ancelitz. Arrangements were made by Riverside-Nassau North Chapels, Great Neck. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
