The American Kidney Fund will be hold its First Annual New York Golf Classic. The Golf Classic, presented by the American Kidney Fund and Echo Pharmacy, is scheduled to take place on Monday, Aug. 7, at The Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack.
The Golf Classic will celebrate the opening of the American Kidney Fund's northeast regional office in Melville, and will feature great golf, terrific food, wonderful fellowship and outstanding raffle prizes. The event is being chaired by Frank D. Pelliccione and Frank M. Corso, Jr., both members of the American Kidney Fund's national board of trustees.
The American Kidney Fund was established in 1971. Named by Forbes magazine as a Gold Star Charity, and by Reader's Digest as one of America's best charities, the American Kidney Fund is the nation's number one non-profit provider of direct financial assistance to kidney patients in need. Ninety-five cents of every dollar spent goes directly to programs and services.
