The Zonta Club of Greater Queens, with the support of The Rotary Club of Gold Coast/Lake Success, is sponsoring a "R.A.V.E. (Rape And Violence Eradication) Walk" on Sunday, April 23, noon to 2 p.m., at Clinton Martin Park in New Hyde Park to help significant organizations continue their work, providing the practical and psychological support needed to break free from abuse.

Keynote speakers invited include Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman and Town Clerk Michelle Schimel.

Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of business and professional individuals dedicated to improving the status of women, locally and globally. See: www.zonta.org. To accomplish this goal, we actively assist organizations such as The Nassau County Coalition against Domestic Violence, Child Abuse Prevention Services (CAPS), SAVI (Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention), and The Center for the Women of New York.
