Dr. Joy Browne, WOR radio's talk-show host and accomplished author may not be lacing up her favorite pair of running sneakers this coming Sunday, May 7, to participate in the 5th annual 5K family fun walk/run fundraising event to benefit Winthrop's Cancer Center for Kids located in Mineola, however Dr. Browne's support of the center coupled with her support of those who work to make the event possible is indeed heartfelt.
