Organizers of the 15th annual Nick Katsounis Memorial Wheelchair Championship 10 Kilometer Run have announced that the Lake Success law firm of Pegalis & Erickson, LLC has joined in as a participating sponsor of the 2006 event.

The event will be held on Sunday morning, June 25, with the staging area at Ellsworth Allen Park in Farmingdale, and most of the course traversing the Bethpage State Parkway. The race traditionally attracts most of the top wheelchair racers in the world, with Ernst Van Dyk of South Africa out-pushing Kurt Fearnley of Australia and Saul Mendoza of Mexico to win the 2005 edition of the race. Diane Roy of Canada broke her own course record to win the 2005 Women's Division.

Pegalis & Erickson is a firm devoted to representing seriously injured individuals in medical malpractice and negligence.
