The United Community Fund's annual LI Gold Coast 5K run is this Sunday, April 2, at Great Neck South High School. Yes, we have the correct date --- to help ensure better weather, the event has been moved from November to April.

All of the proceeds will benefit UCF's 14 member agencies: Child Abuse Prevention Services, CLASP Children's Center, COPAY, Great Neck Senior Center, Great Neck Student Aid Fund, Inc., Manhasset-Great Neck EOC, Girl Scouts of Nassau County, Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, North Child and Family Guidance Center, North Shore/LIJ Health System Foundation, Open Door Child-Parent Caring Center, Sara's Center, The Salvation Army, Visiting Nurse Association of Long Island.

We can't say it enough times, but helping UCF is helping yourself, helping your family, helping your friends and helping your neighbors. UCF is always there for the entire community.

So come and run with UCF on Sunday!

For details, see the sports pages of this issue of the Great Neck Record or call the UCF office at 482-8101.
