The United States Merchant Marine Academy Athletic Department unveiled the 2006 Soccer schedule, featuring 16 overall contests and 10 home games.

The Soccer Mariners will open the 2006 campaign in the friendly confines of Captain Tomb Field at Brooks Stadium versus Rutgers-Camden (Sept. 2), Mount St. Vincent (Sept. 6) and Coast Guard (Sept. 9).

Kings Point will also host St. Joseph's (Sept. 20), NYU (Sept. 23), Drew University (Sept. 26), Manhattanville (Oct. 7), Maritime (Oct. 10), Hunter (Oct. 14) and Centenary (Oct. 21).

USMMA will travel to Farmingdale State (Sept. 13), Vassar (Sept. 16), Mount St. Mary (Sept. 30), Old Westbury (Sept. 4), Stevens Tech (Oct. 13) and Montclair State (Oct. 18).

The Blue & Gray will look to advance to the Skyline Conference Tournament, which begins on Nov. 1.

The Mariners enjoyed a 13-5-3 overall ledger and 8-1 conference mark in 2005. USMMA advanced to the Skyline Conference Championship and earned the top-seed in the ECAC Metro Championships.
