When we heard the news that Carol Teplin was seriously injured at her own birthday party, we were stunned and so upset. In case there are a few people who don't know Carol, she is executive assistant to Plaza Mayor Jean Celender, and a tireless, devoted worker for everyone, every business and every organization in Great Neck. She is an integral part of so many groups here that we have lost count, although we know she is indispensable to the

Chamber of Commerce and COPAY. And her generous spirit and numerous talents are much appreciated here at the Great Neck Record, where she regularly submits a wide range of wonderful articles and photographs. There is no one on this peninsula who does more for this community than our very dear friend Carol Teplin.

These few words go out to Carol with the love and good wishes from this friend who misses her terribly and from a grateful community that wishes her a full, speedy recovery and all the joys in life that she so richly deserves.
