  • News: Public Invited to Forum: "Water, More Precious than Gold"

On Thursday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Saddle Rock School, the public is invited to attend a paneled forum entitled "Water, More Precious than Gold" with notable and knowledgeable experts speaking about this most important resource. Michael Harounian, chairman of the environmental committee for the Sepharadic Heritage Alliance, Inc. (SHAI) says, "We are very pleased to sponsor an evening with such outstanding people to help educate the community about this important environmental topic and to answer questions that people have about our water supply. So often, environmental issues like global warming, the thinning of the ozone layer, and the destruction of rain forests make people feel helpless to change things. We hope that through more public education, we can all become better informed about how we can protect this valuable resource. It promises to be a great evening." FULL STORY
