Congratulations to our seven Great Neck seniors who were just named semifinalists in the 2006 Intel Science Talent Search. We are so very proud of these students.

Congratulations to our Intel semifinalists from North High School, Benjamin Albert, Gali Levy, and Manish Shaha, and from South High, Alan Chou, Hilana Lewkowitz-Shpuntoff, John Schulman, and Belinda Tzen. Congratulations, too, to all of our students who took the time, and did the hard work necessary to enter the Intel Science Talent Search. The community is proud of each and every one of them.

We thank our school district for providing these diligent, talented youngsters with the opportunity, and the guidance to do this valuable work. Thank you to our board of education: President Lawrence Gross, Vice President Judi Bosworth, and trustees Donald Ashkenase, Barbara Berkowitz and Fran Langsner. Thank you to our Superintendent of Schools, Ron Friedman. Thank you to all of our administrators and teachers who were instrumental in encouraging these students to reach such heights.
