Old Village Crafts Fair Coming May 1
It's that wonderful time of year once again; it's spring and it's time for the Old Village Crafts Fair! The 27th Village of Great Neck's Annual Street Fair/Crafts Fair is coming to town on Sunday, May 1. The fun in the Old Village starts at 11 a.m. and continues, all day, until 6 p.m. Just walk over to Middle Neck Road, all the way from Fairview Avenue to Hicks Lane, and enjoy the day.

The Library: Which Way Is Up?
The library board met on April 12 for a budget workshop meeting, but concluding that business quickly, used the opportunity of having the full board together to publicly discuss the recent meeting with the Town of North Hempstead that has led the building committee, a subcommittee of the board, to recommend that the board substantially re-evaluate and scale down their plans for expansion/renovation.

Lance Armstrong Bike Race May 15
While millions have watched the storied courage and career of Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong, few have seen a professional bicycle race in person. Many will have that opportunity on May 15, as the Mayor Allan Gussack Memorial Great Neck Bicycle Challenge takes place in the Village of Great Neck Plaza. The event includes free admission, parking, and a live jazz/reggae concert.
