The 27th Village of Great Neck's Annual Street Fair/Crafts Fair is coming to town on Sunday, May 1. The library board met on April 12 for a budget workshop meeting, but concluding that business quickly, used the opportunity of having the full board together to publicly discuss the recent meeting with the Town of North Hempstead that has led the building committee, a subcommittee of the board, to recommend that the board substantially re-evaluate and scale down their plans for expansion/renovation. Many will have that opportunity on May 15, as the Mayor Allan Gussack Memorial Great Neck Bicycle Challenge takes place in the Village of Great Neck Plaza.
