Louis Scida, 50, died on March 25, 2005. He became a volunteer firefighter at 18. He was elected chief of the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Dept. and was named chief fire marshal for the LIRR in 1998. Son of Helen. Husband of Patricia. Father of Thomas and Lauren. Arrangements were made by the Park Funeral Home, Garden City Park. Funeral Mass at Notre Dame RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Eugene M. Brusiloff, of Great Neck, died on March 28, 2005. He was a trombonist who played with the US Air Force Band during the Korean War and with Peter Duchin, Lester Lanin and Meyer Davis in orchestras backing up Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Tony Bennett, among others. He is survived by his wife Phyllis, and his two children Amy and Paul and their families. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Funeral Services at Temple Emanuel of Great Neck.
