The Great Neck Soccer Club will hold tryouts for the next year's travel teams on Sunday, April 10. Tryouts will begin at 2 p.m. sharp. Players must arrive prior to that time to register for the tryout. The tryouts will be held at the Village of Lake Success fields on Horace Harding Expressway between Links and Vanderbilt Drives.

To be eligible to participate all boys and girls must have been born on or after Aug. 1, 1995. Children who are current third graders and some fourth graders are eligible, as long as their birth date coincides with the requirement. Tryouts will be held regardless of the weather conditions, rain, snow or cold. Please come prepared for the elements.

Additionally the following items must be brought to the tryouts: a #4 sized soccer ball with child's name on it, soccer cleats and shin guards, a drink, an unsealed business size (#10) self-addressed, stamped envelope containing a copy of the child's birth certificate and a check of $ 25 payable to the Great Neck Soccer Club. Please be advised that any child who does not arrive on time and is not in possession of all the listed items above will not be permitted to participate in the tryouts.

The Great Neck Soccer Club is a member of the Long Island Junior Soccer League, a member of the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association and a founding member of the Town of North Hempstead Soccer Advisory Committee.
