Four Candidates for Two Saddle Rock Trustee Spots
In the upcoming March 15 village elections, four candidates are running for two trustee spots in the Village of Saddle Rock. While Mayor J. Leonard Samansky is running unopposed for re-election and Robert N. Zausner is running unopposed for village justice, Charles Hercman, Mark W. Collins, Hamid B. Sharifiazad and Anis Shashou are running for two trustee positions.

Town of North Hempstead Announces Public Meeting
In an effort to educate the public on the proposed improvements to the Great Neck Library, the Town of North Hempstead will host a public meeting on March 14, 7 p.m. at South High School. The current proposal being advanced by the Great Neck library district would cost approximately $19.4 million dollars. A public referendum is expected on the issue sometime in the future.

Executive Women's Golf Association Dinner
The Long Island Chapter of the Executive Women's Golf Association will host their sixth annual Kick-Off Dinner on Monday, March 14, at The Carltun at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow from 5:30 to 10 p.m. The cost of the evening is $60 and includes, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and dinner.
