The Great Neck Park District's sixth annual Rex Lardner Tennis Tournament will be held at Memorial Field on Sunday, June 27, at 9 a.m. (The rain date has yet to be determined.) There is no fee to enter and the registration deadline is June 23.

The tournament will encompass three events: men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. The tournament is open to Great Neck park district cardholders. Entrants may register at Great Neck House, Parkwood Administration office, Parkwood Tennis Center, 5 Beach Road, Allenwood, Memorial or Kings Point courts.

Participants are required to be at Memorial Field by 8:30 a.m. the day of the tournament when pairing of players will be selected. The system of play will be round-robin and winners will be determined by the highest cumulative scores in each event. Anyone can participate, regardless of how they play. The tournament honors the memory of Rex Lardner, long-time Great Neck resident and avid tennis player.
