The Great Neck South Men's Lacrosse team needed something to get their season going in the right direction after losing their first three games. A rivalry game with Great Neck North on April 8 proved to be just the right cure as the Rebels took an impressive 11-1 win back to South. The Rebels jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first half and cruised from there, dominating most of the play.

Andrew Kim led the way with four goals and also contributed three assists. Fellow senior Anthony Bruno scored three goals and had an assist.

Jake Mendlinger made the lead stand up, making eight saves. "I think this will really give the team a boost," he said afterwards.

After hosting Herricks in midweek, the Rebels travel to Sewanhaka on Saturday night at 7 p.m. and then host North Shore on April 20 at 4:30 p.m.
