Mayor Richard Deem is seeking to extend building moratoriums in the Village of Great Neck for four more months. At the village's Nov. 18 board of trustees meeting, last minute moratorium extension additions to the agenda came as a surprise to the public. The U-10 Great Neck Hurricanes Boys Travel Soccer Team won the Nassau East Divisional Championship compiling an impressive record of 7- 1- 1 in its first season of play.
