Great Neck resident Antonio Blanco, 69, prepared this week for the 2003 New York City Marathon that will be held in Central Park on Sunday, Nov. 2. He is one of 30 Great Neck residents participating in the marathon. Blanco, a retired clinical social worker, says that he is as active now as he was when he first began running 40 years ago. The Great Neck Soccer Club currently is comprised of five different age group travel soccer teams. These teams participate in weekly training sessions and practices as well as competitive games on Long Island and Queens.
